It’s 2021 now... Cheers to a New Year and an Update!

I hope everyone is doing GREAT!

If you saw my blog post from August about what the status was with Sherry Dornblaser Photography (SDP), then you read that I put some of my session types on hold due to the pandemic.  Thanks for being patient and checking in with me from time to time to see if there were any updates.  Here it is...  What is the Latest SCOOP with SDP?   

·       Studio sessions will resume starting in February

·       Studio sessions are not in my home for the time being.  They are in a rented space

·       Studio sessions will only be offered at specific times each weekend

·       Cake Smash session will be slightly modified – please inquire if you are looking to book

·       No studio mini sessions at this time

·       I am now taking bookings for Outdoor Spring and Summer Cake Smashes

·       For the time being, I am mainly working on the weekends, however, my calendar may open up in May or June to include weekdays

·       Newborn Lifestyle Sessions will resume in February

·       Fresh48 Hospital Sessions may possibly resume in Summer or Fall

FAQ’s:

What kind of session do you do in Studio?  (all these can also be done outdoors as well)                                       

·      Headshots

·      Cake Smashes

·      Milestones - these are portrait sessions for babies and children

·      Specialty Sessions - these are custom sessions and setups.  For example, a Generations Session, Creative Themed Session, etc. I just booked a FROZEN themed setup and am soo Excited + a Circus one coming up!

 

How far in advance should I book?

·      Since I’m mainly working weekends, I’d recommend booking now because my calendar is filling up

 

Are you doing Cherry Blossom or Spring Minis?

·      I am not booking minis at this time but would LOVE to do a regular session in a location with Cherry Blossoms or flowers.  Can’t wait for warmer weather too!

 

What is your current turnaround time?

·      Two Weeks from the session date

 

For studio and outdoor sessions, what precautions are you taking?

  • Mask wearing for myself at all times

  • Social distancing at all times

  • Contactless

  • Along with my sanitizer and cleaning products, I use UV Lighting - a UV Lamp and UV Box
